    • What a SWEET, SEXY Christmas love story!!! I finished this book with a smile, a sigh and the strong urge to find me a cowboy to go looking for mistletoe and a Christmas tree with. There is no suspense, no hidden agendas, this is a touching story about two people fighting their feelings towards each other out of a sense of guilt to Libby's deceased husband, who happened to be Holden's Best friend. Holden knew he wanted a HEA with Libby but she wanted to leave Laramie, TX in her rear view mirror. T [...]

    • I love romances where people who have known each other as only friends fall in love. I really liked LIbby. I understood her desire to run away from her life. She wanted to start over and not be known as her late husbands widow. I also really loved Holden. It was fantastic to watch their relationship unfold. I felt their confusion, guilt and joy as they started dating. I loved the way the plot unfolded. :)

    • “A Cowboy To Marry” by Cathy Gillen Thacker is a great contemporary read about a woman who’s tired of living in the shadow of her dead husband. Years after his death, Libby has finally decided that it’s time to get on with her life. Her first decision: to sell the dealership and family home. Just as she’s got a businessman coming to evaluate the business of problems occur. First, the town library gets shut down and the two librarians rush to Libby for help. Second, most of the town is [...]

    • When Libby's husband Percy goes on a white water rafting trip with their mutual best friend Holden, bad things happen. Percy is killed while trying and saving Holden when he fell out of the raft. It was a huge shock to Libby as her marriage had began to fall about before Percy left. When Holden returns with Percy's body, he had made Percy a promise in the hospital. To look after Libby and he seems to be doing fine until he realizes he is in love with her. Libby is grieving still but she has deep [...]

    • This was not a good story. It depends entirely on events that have already happened--probably in an earlier book in the series--that we are supposed to know about. The constant references to the past stories deadened my interest in this one. It is overwhelmed by a town of characters and traumatic events we are supposed to be familiar with. The heroine is the widow of a millionaire, so she is pretty much set in life. She is subsumed with guilt because she really didn't like her dead husband and h [...]
