Read The Forever Girl

Me major issue on their own Building the Cold War plus some shared trauma None of it explained up front but there doesn t appear to be much of a reason for that as there s nothing super revelatory to thelot in their backgroundsat least nothing that makes sense to keep a secret and slowly reveal It ended up just frustrating me as a reader because motivations didn t make a lot of sense and the characters on their own weren t interesting enough to really make me invested I did hang on and it got better bit I almost uit this one a bunch of times I just went back and looked at the other books in this series and I haven t lived any of them I might just stick with Susan Mallory for now These Jill Shalvis books especially THIS I ve are just too damn angsty for me.
